VONA is SDI's national-level prescription and patient tracking service. VONA provides a comprehensive overview of the national performance of all prescription drugs dispensed by retail pharmacies. Each month we collect nearly half of the retail prescriptions dispensed and project the activity through methods that stratify by geography, pay type, and class of trade.

VONA offers unique analyses that are not available in any other national prescription audit, including prescription counts by age and gender. Clients have the option of adding SDI's exclusive True Patient Measures™ to traditional prescription metrics, adding the patient-centric dimension to the analysis.

Data are provided through SDI's exclusive Report Generator™ platform and are available monthly – 14 days after the close of the prior month. Additional views available in this service include specialty, method of payment, retail dollars, extended units, and days supply, among others.
