SDI’s clinical surveillance programs include allergen monitoring, known as Allergy Alert®, which is the largest U.S. allergy reporting system. Allergy Alert is designed to track and project against the 60+ million people in the United States who suffer from seasonal allergies.

PROGRAMS & PRODUCTS

Allergy Alert® – Allergy Alert Program
Allergy Alert measures pollen activity nationally and in 49 states, and covers all ZIP Codes within the 109 markets monitored. Suffering severity is monitored on a scale from 0 to 12, which correlates to OTC/Rx unit sales. The program projects the increase in respiratory illness caused by airborne allergens for each market and region before it happens. The report provides predictive forecast modeling and tactical market-level triggers for promotion to the consumer at the time of need.

Allergy Alert is a weekly report and provides quarterly long-range forecasts. Custom reports by region, specific retailer trading area, or sales area are available.

AAN® – Allergy Activity Notification Program
Like the Allergy Alert Program, the Allergy Activity Notification Program projects the number of people affected by airborne allergens for the week by nation, market, and ZIP Code.

AIR® – Asthma Information Report
The Asthma Information Report is a national and market-level 52-week report that tracks and forecasts asthma conditions and allows planning of promotion and advertising efforts timed to the increase in product need.

AllergyDx – Allergy Diagnosis Program
This program is designed to track weekly the number of patients suffering with airborne allergies on a national and market level.

AsthmaDx – Asthma Diagnosis Program
